This Privacy Policy applies to Safe Arrive, published on the App Store by OCCA Communities Association (“OCCA”, “we”,
“us”). Safe Arrive is built by students in OCCA’s app-development program and published under OCCA’s developer account. It collects only what
it needs to work.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email, a display name, and a password (stored securely, never in plain text).
• Content you create — your check-in records.
• Basic technical/diagnostic data to operate and fix the app. We use no third-party advertising or tracking.

Specific to Safe Arrive: the app collects your location at check-in, photos you submit, and contact
information, and sends email notifications to a linked parent/guardian (name, check-in type, time, and photo). This
data is used only to record and share check-ins with the people you are linked to.

How we use your information

• To provide check-ins and notify your linked parent/guardian.
• To keep the app secure and fix problems.
• To respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for advertising.

How information is shared

• Hosting — the app runs on cloud servers (Microsoft Azure) that store data on our behalf.
• Linked guardians — check-in details are emailed to the parent/guardian you are linked to.
• Legal — if required by law.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. Email support@occabc.com to view or delete your
data.

Children’s privacy

This app may be used by children. We collect only the minimal information needed to provide check-ins, never use it for advertising, and a
parent or guardian may contact support@occabc.com to review or delete a child’s information.

Security

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls). No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect
your data.

Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the “Last updated” date above.
