This Privacy Policy applies to OCCA Childcare and OCCA Childcare Admin, published on the App Store by OCCA
Communities Association (“OCCA”, “we”, “us”). These apps are built by students in OCCA’s app-development program and published under OCCA’s
developer account. They collect only what they need to work.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email, a display name, and a password (stored securely, never in plain text).
- Content you create — course bookings and uploaded payment screenshots / course images.
- Basic technical/diagnostic data to operate and fix the app. We use no third-party advertising or tracking.
Specific to these apps: they manage childcare course bookings. The user app collects account info, bookings, and the payment
screenshot you upload; the admin app manages courses and reviews bookings. We collect only what is needed to run the bookings.
How we use your information
- To create and manage course bookings.
- To keep the app secure and fix problems.
- To respond to support requests.
We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for advertising.
How information is shared
- Hosting — the app runs on cloud servers (Microsoft Azure) that store data on our behalf.
- Legal — if required by law.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. Email support@occabc.com to view or delete your
data.
Children’s privacy
This is a child-related service. We collect only the minimal information needed to manage bookings, do not use the data for advertising or
profiling, and a parent or guardian may contact support@occabc.com at any time to review or delete a
child’s information.
Security
We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls). No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect
your data.
Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the “Last updated” date above.
